St. Thomas Aquinas's religious education program (CCD) is family-centered and serves children ages 4-18. Our program equips parents to pass on the Catholic Faith to their children, and grow in their faith together as a family. Once a month, parish families gather for Family Formation Sundays following the 10:15 Mass. We share a potluck meal before the children are led out to their classrooms for fun, multi-sensory, authentically Catholic lessons. Parents remain in the parish center for the adult formation component that teaches and trains them in the Truths of the Faith, so that they can teach their children at home. Three lessons will be sent home for parents to teach their children on their own time, when it is convenient for the family.

This model provides parents with the tools they need to share the Good News and the beauty of the Catholic Faith with their children and to form them into true disciples of Jesus Christ.

Through engaging, down-to-earth, easy to understand lessons and activities, Family Formation brings St. Thomas families together to learn their Faith in joy and with excitement. This shared learning experience develops traditions and spills over into families’ everyday lives—incorporating the Catholic Faith becomes a way of life!
