Join us
this year on March 14 for what promises to be the
best Irish/Italian Festival yet. There will be
fun for all ages. Bring your friends and
family, and have a wonderful
time!
A big part of the festival is our parade. Most, if not all, of the details have been finalized. This year the parade is being headed up by Mark Fibley, who can be reached at 601-467-7429. For specifics on the parade, as well as an application, just click on the following link: PARADE INFO.
We are
still in the process of ironing out the rest of the final details for the festival. Keep an eye on the site to
see where we are in
our preparations.
One of the things that is needed to
help us in getting things really going strong is
volunteers. Volunteers are what helps make the Festival
a success. How do you become a volunteer, you
ask? We have made is as simple as we can by
using the form
below.
Name:_______________________E-mail:__________
Phone:____________________Fax:_______________
**Area(s) of
interest:___________________________________
There are few different ways to use the form. You can copy and paste into a blank email to Carolyn Nation @ worldtravelers@bellsouth.net.
You can also fax it to Carolyn at 601-264-7631.
If you choose not to send the form back in
either of those manners, you can print it out and drop
in off in the Church office. For those of you
who may not know how to copy and paste, you can use the
keyboard to assist you. You can highlight the
form, you can copy by pressing the control and C
button. Then, to paste, use the control and V
buttons.
**You are not
limited to volunteer in one area only. If you are
interested in participating in multiple areas, please
do. The more help we have, the better the Festival that
much better. If you can only spare a little bit of time,
that is just as valuable as any other. We have compiled a list
of the areas where volunteers are needed. Just click on the button on the
menu bar to the left and it will take you to a page showing all
of the areas needing volunteers.
