Irish/Italian Festival 2008
Join us this year on March 15 for
what promises to be the best Irish/Italian Festival
yet. There will be fun for all ages. Bring
your friends and family, and have a wonderful
time! Listed below you will find some
of the exciting things we have planned.

Inaugural 5K Walk/Run - This new event will begin at 8:00 a.m.
All funds raised will benefit St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church.

City-wide Parade - NEW this year
will be a city-wide parade which will start around 11:00
a.m. the morning of the Festival! We plan to have
local school bands and organizations participate, along
with local celebrities!!

Celtic Mass - Join us for this lovely service at 4 p.m.
Let's Eat! - A great meal will be prepared!!
Come to the Pub - Get your Guinness as well as domestic beer and wine.
St. Joseph's Altar - Baked goods galore!
Come to the Art Show - There is a lot of talent at St. Thomas. Be sure to see it showcased at the Art Show.
Two Saints and a Mixing Bowl - This will be the Second Edition of our cookbook, where you can get Fr. Tommy's recipe for Irish scones and many more delicious recipes from parish cooks. The cost is a mere $5.00.
Shamrock Shuffle - Vie for your chance to compete for the coveted trophy and prize money in the fun race for all of the adults.
Music, Music, Music - The entertainment is going to be the best ever! We'll have two headliners on the main stage, and a pub-like
setting for the more intimiate musicians. You won't want to miss any of it!
Hospitality Room - Coffee, specialties and regular, along with other delicacies, will be offered al fresco, at our sidewalk cafe.
T-Shirts and Baseball Caps - Commemorative t-shirts, baseball caps, and other items will be available for purchase.
Silent Auction - Visit the silent auction for a bid on unique items donated by parish members.
Win a trip to Ireland - You could win this wonderful trip for two!!
Activities for Kids - All of this fun isn't for the adults only. There are numerous activities available for the children, too:

Tickets for the festival purchases
will be pre-sold for your convenience, and also sold at the Festival. Please note that there is no entry fee.
First Aid and Security will be provided during the Festival.

are always needed in this community and church-wide,
non-profit, fun-filled Festival! Please call the church
